                        Crowdfunding Campaign Blog

Thank you for taking a look at my project

I see the project like a race i have started, the Start of a race being the first step. The race itself being the second step and the finishing of a race being the third and final step. If I receive all the funding it'll will help with the building of the architectural model, hiring of a graphic design team and the marketing cost that will be involved in the second stage of this race. The launching of a much bigger campaign and the creation of a investors portfolio to make this idea become a reality. This is only the beginning of a long trip but I'm willing to continue on until the finish line.

I plan on building Portland's first Drone racing center with a professionally designed track for day and night racing. The project will be a perfect addition to the community's recreational skate park, high school football field and BMX bike track where people freestyle BMX bikes and skateboard. With your help people will have another recreational center for friends and family to enjoy.
Hopefully someday when the drone Racing World Cup is held in the United States it will be at this Drone Racing center.

First-person view (FPV) also known as remote-person view (RPV) is a method of video piloting drones. Drone racing and FPV is a type of drone flying where pilots use cameras to fly drones as if they were sitting in the cockpit. Some pilots fly using FPV monitors, where as others use specialized FPV goggles to give them a more immersive experience. FPV flying was originally done using RC Planes, but in recent years, multi-rotor drones have become much popular and more stable, easier to fly, and more agile than RC planes. All of this has made multi-rotor drones the perfect platform for FPV flying.

From late 2013 to 2015, people began making FPV drones that were much smaller than what was considered the standard. This allowed them to be even more maneuverable than before while also being able to fit through tighter spaces and hold up better in crashes. After flying these mini FPV drones, it has became apparent to me that FPV Drone racing is going to become extremely popular in the future.

In Portland Drone racing is already starting to take off, but I believe that it's still at it’s infancy stage, and what I am doing right now is “nothing" compared to what drone racing will eventually become years down the road. That being said, people who race drones right now are truly the pioneers of a new sport. they will be the ones who will define what FPV drone racing is. I believe that drone racing is here to stay, so there’s no better time to get into the sport than right now.
I have the perfect place for the track to open and with your help we can make this dream come tru for us all.
